Frequently Asked Questions about Shuttles

What do you do with our vehicles while we are on the river?

We store your vehicles at our shop in Salmon.

What can you tell me about your shuttle drivers?

We take great pride in providing the best shuttles/drivers available.  We use only mature, responsible drivers with many years' experience driving Idaho's river and mountain roads.  Our drivers do a very good job (gratuities appreciated), and most of them have been with us for over ten years.

Where is the turn-off for Boundary Creek?

Between mileposts 109 and 110 on State Highway 21 between Stanley and Lowman.

Where is the put-in for Marsh Creek?

Between mileposts 111 and 112 on State Highway 21 between Stanley and Lowman.

What are the differences between Vinegar Creek, Carey Creek, and Spring Bar take-outs on the Main Salmon?

Vinegar Creek is small (one lane) and primarily used by jet-boaters and outfitters.  It is 29 miles from Riggins.
Carey Creek is two miles below Vinegar Creek, gives you one more good rapid (Vinegar Creek), and has a large ramp with an easy turn-around. It is the primary Main Salmon take-out.
Spring Bar is 15 miles below Vinegar Creek.  It allows you to take one more day on the river, avoid 15 miles of dirt road and the congestion at Carey Creek. Spring Bar has a nice boat ramp with camping available.

What do you mean it won't fit?
